Profitability

·  School nets $5.00 per candle.

·  Ex.  $5,000 profit goal ¸ $5 = 1000 candles to   be sold

           1000 candles ¸ 500 students = 2 candles per
           student to reach goal.

·  More profitable than raffle dinners, chocolate bars and 
    cookie dough or knick-knack catalogue sales where
    school may net 40%, but 40% is off low dollar items.

·  Feedback from parents has been extremely good. 
    Their general opinion of catalogue items is that they are
    of low quality and parents are tired of sweets.

·  Lil’ Flickers Candles are preferred as gifts with higher
    value.

  

Promotion

·  12 scents can be selected for the fundraiser.

·  School gets 5 free candles of different scents from
    Lil’ Flickers to place in strategic locales in school where
    parents frequent- Principal, asst.principal, counselor
    offices, etc.

·  2-3 weeks for students to sell

·  1 week for school to gather tallies

·  3-4 weeks to make candles

·  Delivery the following week

 

Prize levels

·  Gift certificates to local business such as Walmart,
    Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

      Second Prize - $80 gift certificate

(Note: A student winning the first and second prize MUST have sold a minimum of 2 cases.)

2 cases (24 candles)                $10 gift certificate    

3 cases (36 candles)                $15 gift certificate

4 cases (46 candles)                $20 gift certificate

5 cases (60 candles)                $25 gift certificate

Each additional case             + $5.00 for every case sold
